How Quick Can We Surrender?

The New York Post has it right. The ISG report is the counsel of cowards. When you ask career diplomats to report on something, you shouldn’t be surprised when they prescribe more diplomacy.

James Baker almost screwed up the Florida recount mess in 2000. Now he has shown his political willingness to compromise to be detrimental to the security of the United States. This is the same man who was advising Bush the elder when we did nothing to help the Kurds in the early 90’s. It takes courage to do what is right. The ISG has shown that it has none. The White House now has plenty of paper for its lavatories.
